It is not easy for any pet pooch to share their bed with someone else. They are not very keen on it. But the same can’t be said for this Golden Retriever, who does not mind sharing his bed with a toddler in this video. The pet pooch’s gesture has surely left many impressed. The adorable clip has already garnered more than 13K likes at the time of writing.
Golden Retriever is okay with toddler using his new bed
Sharing things with others is not easy for dogs. Be it their toys, food, or anything else, they are obsessed with their things. But this Golden Retriever named Beau seems to be the least bothered by his things being used by his tiny human friend.
The clip uploaded on @beaunosebones shows the pet pooch lying near his new bed, but instead of claiming it as his own, he lets his human friend, Frankie, use the bed as and when needed, since the boy loves his furry pals’ new bed. He is all smiles when he runs and falls on it.
And if you are thinking the instance must have once in a blue moon, then you can’t be more wrong. The clip shows the toddler jumping and snuggling in the new bed almost every day while Frankie lies next to it, unbothered by the fact that his sibling is playing in his bed, which is all cozy, just the way he might like.
Looking at the reaction of the two, the paw parents are left surprised and admit that “I guess it has dual purposes…”
No wonder the video of “The Goodest Boy,” captioned, “When you get a new bed for your dog but you have a toddler,” captured the attention of many online. One person even appreciated the pup’s gesture, saying, “Your lucky the dog is willing to share his new bed.”
